The greeting is a part of the letter that is used to say “hello”. It’s written in the top left-hand corner. After it a comma goes.
The body of the letter follows the greeting. It’s the main part of the letter.
There are two paragraphs in the body. The first lines of them are indented.
Closing is a part of the letter for saying “goodbye”. Signature gives your handwritten name.

They use commas after the addressing in the heading and before the name of the author in the closing.
