Though I myself live in another city, but for every Russian Moscow is one of the dearest and even sacred places.
Moscow was founded in 1147 by Prince Yuri Dolgorukiy and since then stays one of the most important cities in Russia.
It is situated on the Moskva River in the Central Federal District of European Russia. The city is a major political, economic, cultural and scientific centre in Russia and in Eurasia.
There are a lot of places of interest in Moscow, historical and modern. Everyone can find something interesting in the greatest city of the world. Moscow is famous for its numerous churches and cathedrals, for its Kremlin, for Metro, Parks, theatres and many other things.
Really, it’s worth visiting Moscow.
