Mother: Have you taken the rubbish away?
You: No, I was just going to do that…
Mother: Have you washed up yet?
You: Well, I’m sorry, but I haven’t. I planned to do that a little bit later…
Mother: What have you been doing then?
You: At first I was doing my homework, then I went to the shop and did all the shopping.
