They are both the same age and have to make a decision. They both find it a tough decision. They both feel a lot of pressure from their parents who think they should continue their education.
In Britain they have special career advisors who come to school to help Ss make their choice, whereas in Russia it is not common. In Russia in general parents have a bigger influence on their children’s choice of future profession.
