Женщина спросила: «Что ты умеешь делать, дикая кошка?» Кошка ответила: «Я могу гулять сама по себе».
«Тогда уходи!» «Но я голодна».
Женщина подумала и сказала: «Если я назову тебя «хорошей кошкой» ты можешь остаться жить в пещере».
Вдруг ребёнок начал плакать. Кошка подбежала к ребёнку и поиграла с ним. Кошка была тёплая и пушистая. Ребёнок перестал плакать и улыбнулся.
Женщина увидела это и сказала: «Какая хорошая кошка!»
Кошка сказала: «Ага! Теперь я могу жить в пещере и пить молоко каждый день».
Так кошка стала домашним животным. Она жила с людьми, пила молоко и играла с ребёнком. Но каждый вечер она уходила в лес. Там она гуляла сама по себе.
